Almost Spring Hike.....

I know that it wasn't quite spring but, we wanted to get the kids
out of the house and see some more of what Montana has to offer.

We decided to surprise them with a hike and picnic.
So, we loaded up the back pack with PB&Js and 7up and then loaded the
Burb with all of us.

There was hardly any snow in Great Falls......
There is still a lot of snow in the Little Belts....
This is a snow bank on a turn around (we missed the turn).

I am pretty sure these info thingys are supposed to be at waist high.
This one is right at the top of the snow.
that should tell you just how deep the snow is up there.

After a short, slippery hike down a snowy path, we made it to the 1st falls.

This was the "coolest" waterfall I have ever seen.... hehe.

There was a trail leaving the falls so, we decided to see where it led.
Well, we didn't find out where it led but,
we had fun slipping and sliding on the trail.

I would make it down a slope and all I could hear was
giggles and girly squeals as the kids "tried" not to slip.

If it is this pretty covered in snow,
I can't wait for the snow to melt!

Ice makes amazing shapes!

New Ride!!!!!

Well, we quickly figured out, that as a family of 7, we can't really go anywhere with bags in the "Taco"
We had to upgrade.

The dealership was great!  They pulled the Burban onto the showroom floor.
It was cold outside..... (as usual).

They also left the plastic on the seats so we could take them off.

B was pretty excited!

Everybody got to take some plastic off.

Then, the batteries in the camera went dead.  :(
